Frequently asked questions
Is your pottery dishwasher & microwave safe?
1
Yes! All of my pottery is safe to go in the dishwasher and microwave.
Why can shipping be so expensive?
2
Pottery is one of the hardest items to ship; it can be both very fragile and very heavy, so it takes sturdy boxes and careful packing to help it arrive safely. Breakage is every potter’s worst nightmare, so I’d rather take extra care than risk your order arriving in pieces. That being said, if it is safe to do so, I will always consolidate multi-piece orders into as few boxes as possible and refund any shipping overcharges. Gas prices are also directly correlated with shipping costs; if gas is more expensive, then so is shipping.
Currently, I only ship domestically (Including Alaska and Hawaii)
Can you do commissions?
3
My commissions are currently closed, but I am open to them when I have the capacity.
Do you accept returns or issue refunds?
4
I do not accept returns because of the nature of shipping fragile pottery, and I will only give refunds if there is shipping breakage.
If your item is damaged upon delivery, please take a photo of the damage and email me the images no later than 7 days from the delivery date. If the item is able to be replicated, then I will start working on a replacement to be shipped within 6 weeks. If it was a one-of-a-kind piece, then I will issue a full refund for the item and shipping.
Unfortunately, if your order is marked as delivered and you have not received your package, I cannot refund the cost of the order or shipping charges. Front Range Pottery and or the shipping carrier are not responsible for packages that are stolen or otherwise not delivered when they have a "delivered" status.
